چکیده
This paper presents the results of a study which was aimed at determining concentration Fusarium fungi and their mycotoxins in fresh bee pollen, stored for different periods. The analysed parameters included palynological analysis, moisture content, fungal counts, identification toxigenic profiles. In this study, 45 pollen samples collected from same apiary families were investigated. Palynological analysis determined six plant families, among Brassicaceae prevailed. number detected isolates during period ranged 3.5 × 103 to 9.1 104 cfu g−1. During most prevalent genera Alternaria, Cladosporium Yeasts found pollen. significantly highest amounts colonies after 3 days storage undried 46% all studied samples, with levels ranging 101 After storage, significant spp. increase (17.03%) detected. F. graminearum sporotrichioides prevailed whole study. concentrations ZEN (280 µg kg−1) DON (120 storage. present report importance microbiological mycotoxicological analyses monitoring initial stages its production process.

Widespread contamination of wildflower and bee-collected pollen
15 There is considerable and ongoing debate as to the harm inflicted on bees by exposure to 16 agricultural pesticides. In part, the lack of consensus reflects a shortage of information on field17 realistic levels of exposure. Here, we quantify concentrations of neonicotinoid insecticides and 18 fungicides in the pollen of oilseed rape, and in pollen of wildflowers growing near arable fields. W...

Despite intensive research, efforts to control Fusarium fungal infections and prevent or eliminate the presence of its mycotoxins in foods have not met with a great deal of success. Fusaria cause diseases, such as ear rot in corn and head blight and scab in wheat, that affect growth and yield of crops and were estimated to cause a loss of a billion dollars to wheat farmers in the USA in 1993. I...
متن کاملNutritional aspects of honey bee-collected pollen and constraints on colony development in the eastern Mediterranean.
Pollen is the main protein and lipid source for honey bees (Apis mellifera), and nutritionally impoverished landscapes pose a threat to colony development. To determine colony nutritional demands, we analyzed a yearly cycle of bee-collected pollen from colonies in the field and compared it to colony worker production and honey bee body composition, for the first time in social insects. We monit...

The occurrence of emerging Fusarium mycotoxins beauvericin (BEA), enniatins (ENNs) (A, A1, B, B1), Fusaproliferin and moniliformin was evaluated by a liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometric (LC/ESI-MS/MS) technique in 65 domestic rice samples produced in Gilan and Mazandaran Provinces in IR Iran. The results showed that 46% of the samples were contaminated with a...
